• Resources for Restful Web Services

There are three important resources while initiating and working with the Reppify work flow. Create a userlist resource to contain users that will be invited for scoring. The user list corresponds to a job. A User resource can be thought of as a candidate, and this resource also contains high level scoring information. A report describes a user and contains the detailed scoring information for that user.

  • User List Resource

    top

The user list resource represents a job. The user list has five attributes: id, jobName, clientName, numberOfUsers and numberOfResponses.

    • The id is a numeric value that uniquely identifies a job. It is used to identify a particular job by passing it in requests.
    • The jobName is a string used to describe the job, note that the Reppify application also will use job name to automatically fill in the email template used to invite candidates.
    • The clientName is a string used to describe the hiring entity, note that the Reppify application also will use client name to automatically fill in the email template used to invite candidates.
    • The numberOfCandidates describes how many candidates (or users) that are added to the user list.
    • The numberOfResponses describes how many of these have responded.

The following is a sample of a user list resource in its XML representation:
